Amplify Customiser UI Redesign
Redesigned Ticketmaster’s internal CMS customiser to align with global branding and improve clarity, efficiency, and usability for internal marketers.
Year :
2024
Industry :
Entertainment
Client :
Ticketmaster
Project Duration :
5 weeks

Overview :
Amplify Customizer Redesign was my first project at Ticketmaster and focused on modernising the UI of the internal CMS builder used by marketers to create landing pages. The goal was to bring the Customiser in line with Ticketmaster’s global branding while improving clarity, usability, and overall efficiency for internal users.

Challenge :
The existing Customiser interface felt dated and visually inconsistent with Ticketmaster’s fan facing platforms. UI patterns, spacing, typography, and iconography lacked cohesion, making the tool feel disconnected from the wider Ticketmaster ecosystem. As this was an internal B2B tool, the challenge was to enhance usability without disrupting established workflows, while also defining a clearer long term design direction for Amplify.
Result :
The redesign delivered a significantly more modern, cohesive, and Ticketmaster aligned CMS experience. While the project was still ongoing when I left, the UI reskin and feature recommendations laid a strong foundation for future improvements and positioned Amplify as a more intuitive and scalable internal tool.
Key Takeaways :
Design Ownership
Taking ownership of Amplify early on helped me grow confidence in leading design decisions and shaping long term product direction.
Consistency
Aligning internal tools with the same design language as customer facing platforms reinforces brand credibility and usability across the ecosystem.
Internal UX
This project highlighted how thoughtful UI and interaction design can meaningfully improve efficiency and satisfaction for internal users.
