About Stefan...
Product Designer @ Ticketmaster
July 2024 - Present
Working as part of the Marketplace Discovery team, designing fan-facing and internal products. Collaborating with senior designers, my project manager, and developers.
With a background in architecture, recruitment, and digital art, I bring a multidisciplinary, user-focused approach to product design—combining structure, empathy, and visual clarity to create meaningful, intuitive digital experiences.
MyStory.
My Background.
I had developed a talent and appreciation for art and design throughout my GCSE and A-level studies. In summer of 2021, I gradauted the school of Architecure at the University Of Liverpool.
But, I wanted more.
This was a year of self-discovery for me. I got my first taste of commercial experience working as an IT recruitment consultant. Not long after, I decided to give architecture another shot. I worked an architecutral assistant for a short period, and despite the lack of training and support recieved, I obtained some valauble insight into the industry.
The pandemic really changed things for me, and made me look at things from a fresh perspective. Architcture was not fulfilling nor a true passion of mine, so I wanted a change.
Time to explore my creative interests.
I decided to take a career break to further upskill and discover what my creative passion truly is. I later discovered graphic design and coding, and began self-teaching by watching step-by-step tutorial videos.
Discovering ties between Arcihtecture & UX.
After doing more research, I came across UX UI Design. I immeidately noticed the parellels between architecture and UX/UI Design, which intrgued me even more. So, I began creating my own small UX/UI passion projects.
Lets learn and understand the craft.
Seeking further UX/UI knowledge, mentorship, and group collaboration, I received a scholarship and was enrolled on to the University of Birmingham UX UI bootcamp. Despite the intensity of the online course teachings and requirements, overall this was the most wholesome and impactful study expierence I have ever had. The support, resources and career advice were valueable and I intend to use the skills and knowledge aquired to succeed.
The start of my career transition.
As part of the bootcamp, we were given the opportunity to apply to an internship program, in which I was grateful to have been offered a 3-month part time internship as my first step into the UX Design field. During this time, I also took on some ad-hoc freelancing and volunteering to build up my professional exepreince and portfolio as a Digital Designer.
Full-circle moment... from Architecture to UX.
After completing my UX/UI bootcamp and intership, I got an opportunity to work at Ticketmaster, one of the biggest and most estabilshed entertainment companies in the world, as a Product Design Associate for a year.
This was till date my biggest achievement, as I was 1 of 4 (out of a total 252 design candidates) that were accepted to work as a Product Designer!
Present day
In my spare time,
When I’m not crafting intuitive designs, you can find me…
Attending UX Design related events throught the UK to discover, learn, and discuss new ways to improve the user experience . This particular event was at the Bristol Tech Festival Day 2, hosted by AND Digital. Topics discussed that day:
- Data Protection & Transparency
- User-led innovation
- Sustainability in Tech
‘Being measurement driven is necessary for creating never-ending user experiences.’

Attending concerts of my favourite artists. I was lucky to snag some free tickets through Ticketmaster to see Lauryn Hill & The Fugees!
Continuing to immerse myself into supporting clinets/founders with small projects in UX and graphic design. I recently completed a logo design for a startup app (that is still in development), and also emarked on a music app UX project, which is still ongoing.
