artwork

Client and product work where I focus on clarity, usability, and solving practical problems through thoughtful design.

My process

It always starts with a sketch. Working from a photo, I rough out the shapes and proportions until the likeness feels right. Then comes a watercolour grey wash over the facial features, which helps establish tone and gives the piece its structure before any real detail goes in. After that it is all about building up layers. I work back into the drawing using whatever the piece calls for, whether that is coloured pencil, watercolour, biro, or a mix of all three, adding depth and detail until it feels finished.
