THE CHALLENGE

Independent artists often struggle to present themselves professionally and make genuine connections in the industry. The challenge was to design an experience that feels creative and credible while remaining easy to use for users with different tech skill levels. Working solo as the UX/UI designer meant managing everything from research and wireframing to final design and developer handoff.

THE SOLUTION

I benchmarked leading networking and music apps, mapped out user journeys, and designed a clean, modern interface with strong brand presence. I also built out the design system using variable colour and sizing tokens for consistency, and used AI tools in Figma to accelerate wireframing and content generation.

THE RESULT

EXHO launched with a cohesive brand and intuitive mobile experience that resonated with its audience. The app’s design system now supports future scalability, and early user feedback has been overwhelmingly positive — calling it a “refreshing space for creative connection.”

Conclusion

EXHO was one of those projects that reminded me why I love product design — creative freedom, real-world impact, and the chance to build something from the ground up. It strengthened my ability to handle end-to-end product delivery and gave me confidence working with developers in a startup-style environment.
